Lower unit oil

I have a 94 tracker pro series 40 drained lower unit oil to put in new not much came out and can only get about 2 oz of new oil back in book called for 12 oz any ideas

And how are you filling it.?-----From the bottom drain hole till it comes out the vent hole up top.------Easy job , but a mistake can be expensive !

Take the vent screw out.

Bet only the drain/fill screw was taken out.

Thanks took both screws out vent and fill and using small hand pump made for this

Are you saying that you were now successful in filling it after removing the vent and using a hand pump?
