1962 rudey model 35530 serial 05923 one thing is it 40 horse or not and what type of lower unit oil can i get from wal mart for it

Yeah, that's a '62 40 horse. Don't ask me why it starts with a 35...<br />All you need is the regular, 'walmart' 80-90W GL-5 l/u oil. There is special stuff is for the electromatic lower units.

It's gotta be hypoid, since there's hypoid gears in the lu..
