not more than a quart,when i did mine ,take top screw out,then the bottom one let it drain for a while,put bottom screw on with NEW gasket,then i filled from the top very slowly and with patience until it comes out the top screw holes,should take almost the whole quart,put screw back in with NEW gasket good as gold!!! <br /> <br /> !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <br /> ***1971 18'winner 1969 115 jonny***
