Lower unit rebuild

1997 90hp TSLEAU
Is it nessesary to pull the drive shaft out not the( prop shaft)
to replace the upper gear case seal ? I am just doing a complete seal
replacement of the lower unit. I do not have any other problems other than
the oil being a little milky.

No, don't have to pull the D/S. Don't forget the shift rod seal.
