Replacing water pump kit on my outboard. In re-assembly, my manual says to use "Sealer 1000" on the pump base plate and pump housing seal. Is this a non-hardening or hardening sealer? Any suitable Permatex brand substitute? Also, is it a good idea to use anti-sieze on all bolts during re-assembly? Thanks for any help. Its an '82 Evinrude 55hp.
