So I am rebuilding/resealing my lower unit on a 79' Evinrude 85 V4. I have the factory service manual. I need a pair of snap ring or truarc pliers that are long enough to get the snap rings out of the lower unit. There is a good picture in the book these have a real long arms. Does anyone know where I can buy a set. Also I have been looking around it seems like it is hard to find marine special tools should I try BRP? I am an automotive tech I have a wide variety of snap ring pliers but none of them are really long enough.
Thanks guys.

#7 Truarc pliers. Some motors have a snap ring up in the nose of the gearcase too. Those took a pair of extensions for the above pliers. They were OMC special tools.

I bought a set of long handle needle nose pliers and ground the points down -- works pretty well for a kludge solution.
