lower unit vent screw early 90's 6hp

replaced the lube for the winter and the vent screw wont tighten up..is this the proper screw,there is also a spring type thing where the threads go (heli coil?)

found out the guy i bought it from had some service done by a local marina and the put a heli coil in it ...now what do i do

Ayuh,... What's Stripped, the plug/screw, or the heli-coil,..??

If it's the heli-coil Loose, I'd probably epoxy in a new 1....

the coil spins in the hole...i had a ton of water in the lower end when i drained it i dont think that screw sealed right
