can you repair a lower unit if it has a crack about 2 inch between the upper and lower lubrication holes or does this need replacement i am thinking of buying this boat with this problem please give advice thanks
Maybe ,maybe not.Depends on what caused the crack and if any deformation of the gear case exists that houses the internals.Otherwise if you decide to purchase the rig,consider the price around a potential replacement gearcase.
