Lower Unit

Hello all. I have a 1964 35hp motor that I am trying to take apart and am having no luck. I guess first, I need to find out who made my motor, it is Sears brand with this model number: 57159415. I have the lower unit off of the motor and that is it. I need to replace the seals because the gear oil keeps seeping out. I have taken off every nut, bolt and screw I can see and it will not seperate. Do I need to take to propeller shaft out to replace these seals? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
