Not quite a quart and half. Make sure you use the type c lube, you can try NAPA for it but the only place I've found it by the quart is here at iboats and do yourself a favor and get one of these from where ever it makes life much more pleasant.

It should hold about 27oz.
Make sure you get the oil for ELECTRIC shift lower units. Around here, NAPA carries aftermarket parts by the SIERRA brand, they can get the proper oil for you.

get 80w90 marine gear oil at wal-mart, or where ever, pick up the tool to fill your lu while you are there ( its not expensive), fill from the bottom plug, until it comes out the top plug. ....get new nylon washers/orings for the plugs. when it comes out the top hole, replace that plug first, then be as quick as you can to put the bottom plug back in. ( it will be a bit messy)

I thought the 85/100/115/125 all used the same LU but I could be wrong. So I'll tell you that I know my 50 has a smaller LU and takes right at a quart, my 115 takes just under 1 1/2.

Don't use 80/90 like a regular LU it's too thick and won't shift right.

Buy two quarts either way you'll end up with enough, plus have enough for topping off if you need it or enough to change it out when you winterize in the fall.

Re: lower unit ???

would a normal o ring be suitable for the plugs? or does it use a rubber washer of some sort? or nylon washer as mentioned above?
