I have an indash Lowrance x3500 depthfinder. It has not worked since I bought the boat and I would like to get it fixed. It lights up but nothing appears on the display. I assume this is a problem with the indash unit, not the transducer. Can I replace just the indash unit? And if so does it need to be the same make and model or can I plug other units into my transducer wiring? Thanks.
