Lowrance HDS and Yamaha 6YC troubles

I have a new to me 2017 Shoalwater boat that has a Yamaha 6YC gauge and Lowrance HDS 9 on board. I have several issues I'm trying to work out.

Yamaha 6yc - Things I cant get to show up that I would like
Cant get any Fuel Bars and level to show no mater how its calculated - just says fuel with no bars,
I also cant get the trim level to work on the gauge either.
Speed doesn't work
Econ
trim tabs
etc etc

Lowrance - Cant get Fuel level to show here either, I prefer to have it on the Yamaha 6yc but if not at least on Lowrance would be nice.

I know fuel can be read by either a fuel sending unit or be read by a burn rate calculation but not sure how to set them up. unfortunately boat has elevated console with fuel tank in the console and sending unit not accessible

Here is the manual.

Doesn’t support trim tabs, speed, etc. w/o external (NMEA 2000) feedback. Also requires a NMEA 2000 back bone. Perhaps never installed or removed by PO

Thanks for your reply, Boat has the backbone and read the manual and followed all steps. It was kinda useless.

Seems like a decent manual. What information are you looking for?

I suspect your NMEA network isn’t functional.
Have you confirmed the network is powered and operational?

Confirmed all the sensors are powered and communicating?
