Lowrance instructor

This past spring I found a guy on the Internet from Oklahoma that gave a class on the hds units. You would take your boat and he would go out on the water with you and show you how to properly use it. I can not find it now and was wondering if anyone knew who I was talking about, or if anyone knew someone around Arkansas that has a class like that one. Thanks for all of your help!!!

Hi! Not a class, go to hightechfishing.com and check out Bruce's DVD's. They are a great tool in explaining every aspect of using your Lowrance. You can do a Google search and check out reviews; most are very favorable for the amount of information they contain. I believe you can also go to YouTube as I think he has some short snipets and previews on there. Again, not on the water training but an alternative form of instruction.

All the Lowrance units I have seen come with a built in simulator. This will let you play around with the unit while sitting on your couch. The Lowrance units also have a built in tooltip help function. This is enabled in one of the menus.
