Re: lowrance-lms 320

I don't own one but a friend of mine owns an LMS-240 which is the older version with fewer vertical pixels. It seems to work pretty well and he is happy with it. Is only gripe is buying it a couple of months before the 320's came out.

I've got one ordered. I'll let you know how good or bad it is when I know. From the demo available at Lowrance, it looks good.

I don't have it yet. I ordered from Cabela's. The price was good because I used some gift $. I fish ocean and lakes. The LMS-320DF appears easy to use. The basic preloaded chart stuff looks looks well done. Have you gone to the Lowrance web site?

Re: lowrance-lms 320

Skinny Dugan,

I have the lms-240 model which I really dont like, I have had to send it back once and getting ready to do it again, the first time the temp in the transducer went back and then the unit went bad, they replaced it with a new one. The new one now has a lot of noise that the other one did not have, and its mounted the same. I will be sending it back here shortly. I do say they have a great turn around on their products less than 10 days in the heavy boating season. I use it in fresh water to about 150' it reads the bottom very well, GPS is good, the new one dont mark fish as well as the old one. I hopes this helps.

CatCruzer
