I recently installed a pair of EP-60R fuel flow sensors and connected them to the NMEA 2000 network powered by the Lowrance LMS 525c DF plotter-fishfinder. The setup works well. The network buss setup requires that a tank-engine configuration (2 tanks, 2 engines) is selected. The fuel management options chosen are somehow lost when the unit is powered down. The next time it is turned on, the setup has to be selected again...
Lowrance/Navico customer service are clueless and insist that the plotter should store this information. I have uploaded the latest update to the software, and have performed a soft reset, without success. The sensors also have the latest software. The unit has never performed erratically, and memory is only 43% used.
