I bought a nice used trolling motor, but the guy I bought it from ran the transducer cable up through the shaft. Problem is that it is a lowrance skimmer transducer, and was hooked to a Lowrance X50 unit that I do not want to use. I have a Humminbird 747c that I have been using, and would like to keep it. Is there a way to use the lowrance transducer with my humminbird unit. If not can I splice the cable on my transducer? Thanks in advance.
