Anybody catch the LSU game? I thought it was a GREAT game. I live 40 min. from Shreveport, LA ---hometown for Jacob Hester. I heard during the game that he bench presses 430 lbs. and runs a 4.5 40yd. dash. That game actually makes me interested in watching college football again!

I can honestly say that last night was the first time I've ever wanted Florida to win. Not because I don't like LSU...I'll take them over FL almost anyday...but if LSU had lost, then my Vols had a shot at moving back up the ladder, especially after yesterday's win.

Didn't realize that. Florida has 2 conference losses to Tennessee's 1 (Auburn, LSU). If the Vols clean the rest of the table, they'll have at least 1 less loss than Florida. Even though Florida beat Tennessee, wouldn't the larger number of losses work in Tennessee's favor?

I guess you got a point. I was looking at it from a mere "AP Poll" perspective. The SEC championship is where I need to be looking (although it's very doubtful that they will clean the table this season).

Yes I watched it. The first college game I've sat and watched in years. A fantastic game. Florida outplayed LSU, we just got lucky. Even though I don't particularly like the bigheaded Tigers, I must cheer for my local team, go LSU!

No, the SEC is split into two divisions the East and the West. Florida is in the East division and both of their losses were to West division teams. If both Florida and LSU win the rest of their games each would win their division and play agian in the SEC championship.
