Lubricating U-Joints

One last question - I want to lubricate my U-Joints. Can I pull the drive unit without dropping my gear oil? Will the U-Joints come out with the drive unit or will I have to remove the bevel or the bell housing?

Yes the drive comes without removing the gear oil, you just remove the tilt rams, 6 nyloc nuts, put the drive in forward and remove. The drive shaft comes out with it and the u-joints but you better get that leak fixed from your other post. You will need to remove the drive to change the bellows anyway if thats the problem and if you find water in the bellows then bearing and joints need to be done. When was the last time you changed the gear oil?
