Lund 1660 Classic Livewell question

I recently purchased a Lund 1660 Classic. I'm not sure of the areator set up. I have tried it and can get water in, but not out. It will pump water in while in either auto or manual mode. The livewell has the spiggot in the top/rear, a drain-looking hole in the bottom rear of the tank. The plastic hardware (intake) at the top and the drain looking do-hickey at the bottom are threaded. Seems like something is missing. Am I crazy? ... .

Re: Lund 1660 Classic Livewell question

My 1986 Lund has a similar configuration and uses a valve found under a cover in the floor. When open the valve allows water to drain, but when closed it diverts water being pumped into the livewell through the aerator spray bar.

Do you have a small roundish cover on the floor?

Re: Lund 1660 Classic Livewell question

I own a 2006 1660 Classic and to drain the livewell I unscrew the livewell overflow pipe (at the back) and the water drains out. Once drained screw it back in. The live well will not drain completely if there is too much weight in the boat. I usually do this while docked or on the trailer.
