I have a Lund and my Grandfather has an Alumacraft. Both are great boats.

All three are excellent boats, Quin.

I would go for the one that is equipped closest to your wants.

My personal choice would be the Lund, but that is just brand image, not any real facts.

Good luck. :)

The Alumacraft might be a better value (more boat for the money), the Lund might have a little more resale value. They're both excellent boats, IMO.

Forgot to mention my mom has a 21.5'(?) Crestliner walkaround cuddy, I think it might be an Eagle, and I'm very impressed with the quality and ride of that boat as well. The welded hulls of Crestliners are nice. She keeps it in Mexico and uses it in saltwater all of the time (man am I glad my mom got the fishin' bug!!!).

I have a 20' Lund Alaskan. I've had her in some pretty rough seas, and she don't leak a bit. Well, other than my forgetting to put the plug in Sunday......... :D

You don't say what style you want to buy, utility, fishing, fish/ski, etc. If you are looking for a plain utility/fishing boat, you might want to look at a Naden, made right up in Canada.

I have a 1980 Crestliner Nordic 20 and 1/2 foot. I love this boat, looks new still does not leak a drop and Welded Hull. Use it in ocean every year in seas up to 8 feet by 8 sec. Only wish could find same model 4 feet longer. I think they are all good boats but I am biased toward Crestliner.

I'm not sure if this is within the Iboats.com policy after reading the post in NTDWB. But will give it a try.
I would try walleyecentral.com for as much reading and information about these boats. Pages upon pages of information on these boats on the message boards.

Dman
