A friend of mine just bought a used Alaskan and had to replace some decking. After pulling the floor he found all but two of the L shaped fuel tank brackets broken. Since I trailer everywhere I pulled the floor panel and checked my 2000 ProV18 SE. All but 1 of the brackets were broken and the one left was bent. The tank looks like it has slid back about 1/4". There's a bulkhead there so it can't go any further but should this be like this? A call to my local dealer has gone unanswered so far. Any ideas? Is this a warranty as part of the hull? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Call Lund customer service they are pretty helpful I have found. Who knows . . . they might have had a recall on those ?
