Lund shift control repair

I need to repair shift cable in 93 Lund Tyee. The collar on cable has keyways that seat into plastic piece which has cracked.Is there a simple way to remove shift/throttle control? Looks like entire side wall has to be removed which means dash and back end have to come out first? Looking for you tube or some on line direction but unable to find any. 120 HP Johnson Outboard

Probably ought to post what motor/remote you're using, I'd bet they arent Lund Tyee specific.

Perhaps someone else w similar motor/remote can help.

Some of my remote throttles are thru bolted to a side panels, and although not a simple task to reach some of them, i dont think i have to pull the side panels off any of them to reach them. Just reach up behind them to find the nuts.
