Well after years of looking I got one!!!! 1969 Islander merc 120. Boat is in need of total gut and refit, Insanity at its best!!:facepalm: Went and looked at it tonight, low balled him on price, basically explained it was worth scrap price as is and to get full scrap price it would have to be gutted of wood. So for 500 dollars here it is.

Been a while since its been on the water, and the helm. Anyone want to help me out with my Starmada dues? I believe this tin can gonna bleed me out!!!!!!

Nice project might need a 2nd job for that one LOL Helm is the cleanest and I would have a problem ever being on that boat in the past with the gas tank right next to the engine. Celebration is in order.

Ya Jas, I had to keep the mob back last night, so night pics it was! At some point today there will be a photo bomb exploding on Iboats so I have a record of what it was and how it should go back together!!! And as a bottom feeder it has been a long search for "the right one" Here we go! LOL

Unlike Puget, I have ho problem with a gas tank in the back - millions and millions of boats have them right there. Just need a good solid fuel system. Like no leaks and good bilge blower.

You have a lot of work to do on her, so get cracking and welcome to the Michigan chapter of the Starmada. Boy, that group is getting big.

Trailer, had to stop to Meijer on the way home with trailer and repack the shot bearings and bought bearing buddy's so I could load them up on grease. One side had half a 16 penny nail for a cotter pin. Needs some attention SOON

Got a lot more pics for the future as the rebuild unfolds, spent an hour or so resizing them tonight:facepalm: And made some boat progress, pulled plugs on the motor and oiled the cylinders. Motor has not been run since 1997, bore scoped the holes and top of pistons and cylinder walls look good, but it is locked up tight!!!!!! So...............
