Main Engine and Kicker hooked up to same Battery?

I plan on my main engine, Yamaha 250hp being hooked up to the same battery as my 9.9hp Kicker.<br /><br />Is there a problem with one charging system damaging the other?

nope<br /> as long as you dont hook the cables up backwards

Can't think of one. The rectifier and regulators will protect them. I would keep an eye on battery fluids if for some reason you ran both for a long period at the same time.

Can't think of one either. They can't get by the rectifiers. Like rodbolt said. hooked up correctly.
