Main Engine Wiring Harness Connector - Replacement?

Hello, I'm working on a 1984 Bayliner Capri with an AQ125A drive unit. I want to replace the main engine harness connector, the one that disconnects about 7 wires on the engine from the wiring to the control panel. All the connectors are oxidized and some are even falling apart. Anyway, does anyone know where to find a replacement for this, preferably waterproof such as a deutsch connector? I can't seem to find anything here or at any of the auto parts stores. Thank you.

There are lots of waterproof connectors available in the aftermarket. Any of them with a the number of terminals you need can be spliced intot he harness. You don't need and AQ connector (unless you find one of course).

Right, I was planning on aftermarket. I guess including my exact boat make and model wasn't necessary.

I was just wondering if there was a good place to buy a set, since I can't find them in any local stores or even here on iboats. I found some on Jegs that seem reasonable.

Thanks for the reply.

How about a military surplus store. Try googling "water proof electrical connectors". Remember, if you use an aftermarket connector the contacts must be capable of handling the current on each connection.
