Is it possible just by changing jets, or are there changes in exhaust etc.?

Ok heres what you do, Go to Walmart and look in the houseing decore section, find the nice numbers you put on the side of your house that tells the number of your house ( there usaly gold stickers) So buy a Number 7. Next take a look at your 65 cowling, clean up the number 6 with a damp towel, then dry. Next take the backing off the number 7 sticker and put it right over the 6. And there ya go you got a 75 hp.

8) My guess is a bigger carb and diffrent exhaust

It's never just jets. The wrong jets make it run too rich or too lean, both of which reduce power. The size of the throat determines the size of the jet.
