In my personal experience from the shop I used to work for, Mallory sells the cheapest junk available to boaters. The stuff is just junk.
I don't know who makes their parts or markets them, don't even care. I won't have anything to do with any of their parts.
Parts that just don't fit, impellers so stiff you can't put them in an Alpha I or earlier, bellows that fall apart without ever getting to the water, shift cables that are to stiff to even be installed.
Not me.
