Have any of you tried to install a Mallory YLM 700AV distributor? ( as replacement for original electronic distributor)
Except from adding a ballast resistor before the coil is there then anything else to be modifyed in the wiring?
It is a VP 205A and the 12V+ wire comes from the alternator D+ via a merge in the connector in the wiring harness and not directly from the key-switch as Mallory show in their wiring diagram for installation with ballast resistor
