Man, I'm so glad that I don't have an extra pile of money right now!

Nah.

I have a buddy who sells scrap from his projects. In order to get "top dollar," everything has to be stripped down to the bare stuff. Other than that, it's 10% of the top dollar.

Not worth the time and effort. And leftover scraps. 😏

I bet that was pretty cool! Did it ever get finished?

Wish I could do something similar, but it's too late for me now.

I'll be happy if I can get my Chieftain done! :geek:

Yep. His was an Inboard, not an I/O. Never did sort an unbalanced prop shaft vibration, but cruising to a cove and acting as a base for jetskis & runabouts, worked well. W a head, galley, bunks & berth it was a great base of operations.

He had it for 25+yrs. Traded 1ST wife for a wealthy 2nd wife, traded Marinette for a 50ft houseboat, 1 jetski for 2 and upgraded to a bigger runabout. Then retired at 50, built a huge dream 2nd home in Florida and moved into it permanently last fall. Done well for himself

Such a deal! (y) :ROFLMAO:

The one in the ad above has a single inboard. I've seen others with twins. I bet those old engines are expensive to feed nowadays.
