As I drove to go jump start my girlfriends car that woudnt start this morning at her work, the truck thermometer said -18F, but that could be off by a degree or two......not like that would be noticeable. Wind chills are over 40 below, and like others every school in the are is closed. The university of coarse isnt, but I wont be going. I really have no desire to walk 15-20 minutes from where I park to my class.
The coldest I personally have seen was last Febuary. I was up north for an ice fishing trip with my dad. At night it got down to -32F. During the day when I was cutting holes in the ice is was -15 or so. By the time i cut hole number 6, the first one was iced over. The next morning I had to redrill........I couldnt even chip out the holes. Caught some northerns though 8)
