Just a little rant while I wait for my '04 PT175 to get out of the shop. It's the shop in Ranch Cucamonga down the street from Bass Pro Shop. I put her in the shop 12 days ago to have a new trollong motor installed with 6 gauge wire and add a 2 bank charger for an added battery (going from 12 to 24 volt).

They called me 5 days ago (last Saturday) to ask if I wanted to spend $23 for a battery tray and I told them sure "just get her done". I called today and was told the tech staff will be out the rest of the week for training. CRAP!!! The stripers are biting and I want my boat back!!! Waaahhhh Waaahhhhh.

I'm in school maintenance and we are swamped during the summer getting things ready for next year so I opted to let them do it for me. I guess there's always next weekend....

I got a call today finally. I will be picking the boat up Thursday morning. Just in time! My withdrawls from fishing were getting bad enough I almost packed up my stuff to go shore fishing! Anyway 19 days to install a trolling motor is kinda slow considering I R&R'd my Miata motor on a weekend in the driveway. All's well that ends well. Now I have to learn to use the new Terrova with Auto pilot and IPilot. Should scoot pretty good with an 80# thrust.

Yeah, the Tracker department in Baltimore is very slow also. The parts department is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous though. I call the Harrisburg location when I need something and have even taken my boat in for repairs there instead of Baltimore which is only 20 minutes from me. Harrisburg is located over an hour away but there service is incredible.

Good to know about the Baltimore service center...I wasn't very pleased with what I saw when I bought my boat there last year so I can't say I'm shocked.
