I bought new 3.0 liter 181 cid engine block from PPT performance pro technologies last year. They sent me a gasket to adapt my new manifold which is actually a rochester 5 bolt pattern manifold to the smaller port cylinder head. The boat has been running great but noticed changing oil today there is some exaust escaping on the back end of manifold close to riser. It probally the gasket blown. No water in oil or anything shes running fine .The question i have is would it be better to buy a new manifold that is for the smaller cylinder head ports or to purchase another gasket . I do have a brand new mercarb in the basement but was running with a rochester. I used he gasket that PPT sent but the setup is not that great. Maybe i should use a newer manifold that is made for the new engine and small cylinger head ports The block is a 2005
