Manifold intake section all rusty...

So I took the manifold off my 3.0 motor (cracked block...whole other thread) but I noticed the intake section of the manifold is all rusty which naturally I would assume doesnt help engine performance...durability or longevity. The motor had been sitting for a few years and I imagine thats where the moisture came from that produced all this surface rust. So.... should I just get as much as I can with some sand paper and not sweat it or try to find a diff manifold ( I have an extra one of another motor)?? I posted a pic.
