The OEM manual will cover all topics, fuel, igniton, powerhead, gearcase in detail and show you how to troubleshoot the engine when problems arise, for that particular engine.<br /><br />The generics cover a lot of engines and are not as detailed.<br /><br />Hope this is what you where looking for.
