Manual tilt trim for 35-40 hp -find used or make one

Hi,<br /><br />There used to be a hydraulic tilt trim that was controled by a small lever at the console. I would like to find one for a 1979 35 Johnson although they might fit several models. They are no longer made that I know of. <br /><br />Another alternative is to make one. Has anyone done this and could you tell me how you did it?<br />Thanks a lot Bob.

This unit is being supplied by Bass Pro Shop. They have an 800 number, but cost around $400.
