Manual Trim

For those of us that have the Chryslers with the manual trim, i was wondering what setting you lock the motor in. Does the trim pin location effect RPMs and Speed? Basically is im trying to find the general consensous on the proper location to keep the trim pin, I know that ill just have to run it and test it on my own but i was just curious at to what others have done. Thanks for the help guys.

I think the factory send them out in the second hole.Jerry

I have messed with mine quite a bit, and found the 3rd hole to work on my boat. Not much change from the second, but that is what i am sticking with. I don't have a tach, well working tach but it seems like it does go a little faster.
