Hopefully this is the right forum (?).
Has anyone tried an engine repair manuals on CD?
I've seen ones before for other things (non-boat) and the quality was poor....looks like they scanned in with a $20 Wally-World scanner. Of course, through the internet, it would be bought pretty much sight unseen.
Right now I could use 3 manuals and that's about $100. This option looks like an attractive alternative.

i have never been pleased with them. if you can get an actual OEM one, i still find them hard to navigate.

Their usefulness depends on the person putting the e-book together, and your comfort level with 'puters. The best ones are logically organized, just like the original...but, yeah, the quality of the scans varies greatly...sometimes they are so poor that you can't print the page and get anything you can actually read/use. I don't buy anything electronically unless the seller can answer my questions beforehand...if there's no contact info or they don't respond, walk away and forget about them.
