Hey guys, its been a while, and its time for me to upgrade my Chaparral 300, family is getting bigger. Found a boat on craigslist and its at Marina Bay Shore Depot in Atlanta. Should I Run away? Anyone buy a boat from them? doing some search on the world wide web, they sell boats/cars/RV's and see some postive reviews but still makes me wonder.

Looking to hear what you guys have to say.

Read their FAQ's and then decide how bad a rip off it is.

Interested in the boat ? Look at it in person before any money transaction , pretty cut and dried , just verify Title info.

Looks Scammish - The domain name was first reserved in August of 2020 and renewed in July 2021, yet some of their (fake) reviews pre-date its existence.

There have been numerous consignment sales scams that appear every few months. This looks like another one of them. Bouncing them off of a CL Ad is their primary MO.

Thanks guys, appreciate your time. Yep, I pulled off, its crazy, when i researched on the company several forums from cars/bikes/RVs I found quite a few posts with positive reviews but still had that stomach feeling. When its to good to be true its fake!!!

My last email to the buyer, "ok facetime me at the boat or I can send a 3rd party inspector....."Crickets"

thanks guys

Close friend of mine ”bought” a classic car from one of these scammers before he consulted any of his friends. They took him for $15k. Anyone selling anything major that won’t let you come see it, SCAM, every time.

Also, if you are not paying attention and looking closely, you may miss the fact that the reviews are planted on various websites that the scammers have hacked into . . . not necessarily consumer review websites.
