can you tell me if you have ever or know of anyone who has taken the 4 cylinder 100 or 115 2+2 motors and installed 2 carbs on the bottom 2 cylinders with the carbs with the idle jets and how it has worked out.as far as motor performance any other adjustments that have to be done as i am very seriously considering this as my motor runs well in all phases except for pulling skiers and it is a bit slow out of the hole. thanx for your advice !

I have never heard of anyone attempting what you suggest.

You are wanting to get rid of the 2+2 aspect of your engine correct?

If I am not mistaken you just have to add a jet to the carb. I am not 100 % sure though.

I do though know if you are having problems pulling skiers. It might lie with the accel pump on the engine.

If this does not correct the problem...You could try 4 new carbs. Say for a 115hp :)

I have checked the parts Cat and it seems everything is the same but the carbs.

TMD
