I for one seldom consider it when responding to performance problems; just don't usually think about it as I normally trailer and boat sits on the trailer when unused.
I recall one summer visiting relatives on Lake Livingston, Tx., on the Trinity river South of DFW..............Spent 2 weeks there every summer with the wife and 4 young kids. By mid week in the second week, with the fiberglass boat moored, it was becoming noticeable. Have seen data on tests run with varying hulls/treated-non-treated/types of water and all and it can become a problem before you realize it.
Thought about this upon reading briangcc's reply this morning to "Prop Rec for Better Hole Shot........" question herein this AM.
