3rd of the polls.
This poll is private, your answers can not be seen. This is for the hourly guys only. What is your total base pay per hour, not your total compensation package which includes benefits, bonus's etc etc.

The mechanics in my area charge $85 per hour. But I live in the capitol of the boating world.

They bill at 85 per hour But I pay my guys about 25 plus bennies.

They get paid for every hour they are punched in, get paid to eat, get uniforms and at the moment 100% health

It comes down to supply and demand. Also your experience plays a big roll. If a shop is charging say $85 an hour you bet the teck is only getting $30 or less.

In CA labor rate for boat service shops is any where from $100-$150 with the average being $110-$130 depending on where you go. But if you do come here, Try to stay along the cost for better pay. Come inland and they know they don't half to pay as much and get a way with it:( Good luck where ever you go:)
