Marine scanners

I tried to find on the internet, stores where I could find diagnostic scanners even for outboard motors, as well as inboard.<br />I am aware that it will be one different scanner for each manufacturer, but I just cant have a head start.<br />I already own automotive scanners like snapon, but they do not have the software for marine aplications.<br />I apreciate your help.

I have not seen a motor with hook up for a scanner. If there are any motor that have it they will be 4 stroke EFI models and I would gess whould have to get from manufactor. Good luck

Outboards need a laptop and the manufacturer's software and cable. Merc needs their own tester and cables, plus additional software.<br /><br />EFI inboards cannot use automotive diagnostics due to a different hookup and design.<br /><br />Contact Rinda.com for marine EFI software and cables.
