I have a 1996 Mariner 115 that I have been having problems with. Cleaned the carbs and did a link and sync. Had to adjust the throttle cable. I still had a problem with the holeshot. The #1 and #2 carb wasn't kicking in. The motor would stumble on itself like it had too much fuel or not enough fuel. But then would be fine once it hit 2000rpm's when the 3 and 4 carb kicked in.
I was just fix'n to pull the carbs again and do a complete re-build with gaskets and needle when I noticed the two black wires on my regulator were not tighten all the way down.
Could this cause my stumble problem with the #1 and #2 carbs? I was thinking of putting it back together and running it to the lake to check but thought I would ask here real quick.
Also would a error in the pre load adjustment on the throttle cable cause the stumble? Thanks
