I have 1993 Mariner 150 that I just bought, and it looks like it has a new lower unit on it. My question is: There is a small tube with a fitting on it that sticks up out of the lower unit in the front it looks like a pitot tube and has a metal fitting on it tha looks like a sleeve an two washers , but it's one piece. Is this for a water pressure guage? Or is it for the speedo? Or something else? Thanks in advance.

I thought it might be b/c there is no pitot pick-up mounted on the transom, but I couldn't find where it connected to, so I'll have to search a little harder. Thanks
