I was wondering if the engine should change rpm when you depress the accelerator pump when the engine is Idling ? Every once and a while I go to get on plane and the engine just bogs, you let off and hit it again and the same . Shut it off tilt engine check for weeds and none found and than it will be fine and may not act up for days . I changed the fuel lines and cleaned the injectors and replaced the fuel filter to them and all other lines . but if you push the pump it doesn't change engine speed .should it ?

Dan,

If I understand your question, the answer is yes.

I have tested my accelerator pump on a lake by removing the engine cover, starting the engine and letting it idle. Then I took a screwdriver and pushed the plunger on the accel pump and the engine speed blipped up and cylinders 3 & 4 lit. That convinced me that my pump was OK.
