Hi

I've been reading up on bypassing the oil injection on my motor - the guy I bought it off said to remove the oil pump, pull the shaft out and refit the oil pump (plus remove all the other stuff like sensor/tank/T Peice etc)

So do I need the Oil injection block off kit ? part #43453 or can I just do as above?

Engine S/N 0G826642
Year 1999
Power 200HP V6 2.5

The above works ok on the 2.0 & 2.4 liter blocks as bottom of cylinder is thicker and bushing is in casting deeper than the 2.5 series blocks. It really should be used on all models especially the 2.5 blocks...
