How about water coming out of the center of the prop?? The holes you are looking at are exhaust bypass ports and the most you will ever see coming out there is a fine mist or a very light dribble when the engine is idling in the water. At rest, water pressure on the through hub exhaust forces small amounts of exhaust and cooling water mist out the bypass ports. This is necessary for proper low rpm operation. Perfectly normal.
