Mariner 45 HP Inconsistent power

Hi All-<br /><br />My 1993 Mariner runs great 75% of the time right from the start. The other 25% it starts up fine but will not give me much above idle speed until it it has run about 3-5 minutes (it does this whether it warm or cold). I keep the throttle full power and it just chugs along, then suddenly 3-5 minutes later it goes full power and takes off.<br /><br />Any thoughts??<br /><br />Thanks

Check your wires for a loose ground, and for corrosion. When this happens, check and see if you are losing spark on a cylinder.
