near the bottom of the leg are 2 screws, 1 is for oil and the otherone say "WASH" does anyone know what this is for?

Thanks

Paul;

Should be for the fitment of a flushing attachment which is used to flush the inside of the cooling system. Once the attachment is inserted, you can connect a garden hose to it, much the same as using the muffs to run the engine on land.

Thanks Gerry

Does the motor need to be running when using this method?

Paul;

No, don't run it when using the flushing attachment. If you want to run it, use the muffs.
