The wires to the low oil sensor were disconnected when I inspected this unit. ( it was given to me) I plugged the wires back in and after the horn test worked it started fine but the warning horn continued. I shut the outboard off and switched to a tank of mixed fuel . After starting it again I pulled the wires and the horn went off. With the boat in the water, I ran the unit at different RPM's for 20 minutes. It ran better than I expected. Not knowing the history of the motor and lacking the funds to have it diagnosed, I have decided to run the outboard with premixed gas. What do I have to do to shut off the oil tank that is on the unit so I can continue to test run it using the correct oil/gas ratio. Thanks in advance for your input

Are you talking about the oil injection on the motor or Is that the stand alone auto blend system? If it is that is an easy fix, pick it up and throw it in the garbage. They have extremely high failure rate.

Open the oil mech pump up, take the drive shaft out and put back together if it seals.
Cable tie or short out oil level float sensor
run a 50/1 mix and away you go.
